Security Officer - Construction Patrol

As a Security Officer - Neighborhood Patrol in Lancaster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist with access control, report irregular activity, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, incident documentation, and timely notification to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and maintaining accurate entry and exit logs.
• Perform routine security-related checks of doors, gates, loading docks, and restricted areas, and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious conditions through established reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
