SummaryDescription: The Accounting ClerkV provides administrative, project, and day-to-day functional support to the Accounting Department at the plant.The Accounting Clerk Vvalidatesproduction accounting/reporting procedures, accurately reports production statistics, and monitors inventory methods while partnering with plant andCorporatepersonnel to efficiently support plant processes. Pay rate: $22.10-$27.63/hr Production Accounting: 60% Ensures timely and accurate production reporting for the cheese and whey departments to allow quality and cost-effective operating decisions, including partnering with management to review and analyze accounting related issues. Responsible for the daily reconciliation of milk receipts and reporting to the co-op, along with monthly calculation of incoming component test results used for billing comparisons. Responsible for maintaining Lab Excel file so reporting is accurate for final payment to co-op. Partners with Corporate Supply Planning to provide weekly receipts to be used in company wide milk plan. Ensures weekly completion of plant Objectives and Fat Mass Balancing report utilized by Corporate Accounting for weekly and month-end statistics reporting. Responsible for entering condensed whey settlement results into SAP for accurate invoicing. Inventory Control: 25% Ensures proper accounting of inventory ofcream and milk daily. Partners with production departments to validate inventories and confirm entry into MES. Verifies sweet cream loadoutBOLs areaccuratefor proper Y&E and usage reporting. Conducts monthlyblindStoreroom Cycle Countsto ensure proper inventories of stocked items.Auditspreviousday'scounts conducted by Storeroom clerks. Admin Team Support: 15% Complete Mechanical Uptime file weekly to support the budgetingprocess. Complete monthly assigned Intelex tasks. Create new vendors as needed for donation requests. Backfill for daily POConsumption review and IN2080 errors. Minimum Qualifications & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience in ahigh volumeproduction environment, preferably in a manufacturing environment Familiarity or ability to learn SAPand MES, or similar integrated manufacturing system Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs Knowledge, Skills & Abilities/Competencies: Effective verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills High levelof organizational skills and problem solving Creative thinker with a process improvement mindset Working Relationships: The Accounting Clerk Vreports directly to theAccounting Supervisorand has no direct reports.This position has frequent interaction with other function department Managers, Supervisors and Operators. Work Environment Description: Worksina plant production floor.Requirements involve both sedentary and movement (e.g., walking, standing, or otherwise being mobile throughout the plant production floor) for extended periods of time, and sometimes through extreme heat or cold temperatures.
