Location: Waukesha, WI Department: Quality Assurance Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt About the Role Prolec GE Waukesha is seeking a Quality Engineer Specialist to support product and process quality planning across our manufacturing and office operations. In this key role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes that impact product quality, lead quality investigations, develop audit tools, and ensure ISO 9001 compliance. You will play a critical part in driving continuous improvement, preventing defects, and providing valuable insights to leadership on quality performance. Key Responsibilities Participate in design reviews and quality requirement assessments. Conduct training programs related to product knowledge, test equipment, and inspection techniques. Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Define, modify, and improve manufacturing and office processes. Develop product and process quality audit tools. Lead special studies and investigations for problem-solving and defect prevention. Report quality performance and cost-impact of quality to management. Oversee analysis of field failures and in-plant test failures; implement corrective and preventive actions. Conduct cost-of-quality analyses. Advise teams on audit and inspection processes. Evaluate processes and implement controls to reduce reliance on inspection activities. Interface with customers to address problems and improve company performance. Lead teams in developing and improving processes.
