Job Description




As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Officer in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols of dining, bar, and perimeter areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm, clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a restaurant and hospitality location.
  • Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, state and local laws, and post orders; complete required checks and documentation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, trespassing, and/or medical emergencies; contact law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of dining areas, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter; monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive activity.
  • Complete security-related reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to management and Allied Universal leadership, and support closing and/or opening procedures such as perimeter checks and escorting team members to and from vehicles when requested.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
