Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Response

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Response in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will support tenant and visitor needs with professional customer service and clear communication, respond to calls for assistance, and document observations and activity while working as part of a reliable, agile, and integrity-driven team.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with post orders, maintaining a professional presence throughout the property.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate key information during shift turnovers to support continuity of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
