Job Description




As a Security Officer Night Patrol Driver in Peebles, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident response. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, and you will communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors while representing Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific policies, access control procedures, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate contacts as required.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry points, gates, and assigned areas for unusual conditions, and complete security-related reports and log entries as required.
  • Coordinate with site personnel regarding deliveries, contractor check-in, and restricted-area access, and assist with traffic flow and/or queuing as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
