As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control by greeting employees and drivers, checking credentials, monitoring entry points, and documenting visitor and delivery activity. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting smooth operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Manage access control at entrances and truck gates by checking identification, issuing temporary badges, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and directing drivers to designated check-in areas.
• Screen incoming and outgoing traffic as required by post orders, including verifying appointments, reviewing shipping and receiving documentation when applicable, and monitoring for unauthorized entry to help to deter incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting, documenting activity, and escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including docks, yards, and perimeter points, noting and reporting hazards, unsecured doors, and suspicious activity per site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
