| Position Highlights |
Arizona Arts Live is seeking Production Technicians. The Production Technicians will provide production support for various live events, primarily in the areas of audio, lighting, video, and carpentry. The Production Technicians will also assist in loading and unloading equipment from trucks, set-up, operation, and tear-down of theater equipment, as well as generally maintenance of performance facilities. Must meet the physical requirements and be able to consistently lift minimally 50lbs. This position is part-time and may be on-call. | Duties & Responsibilities |
- Sets up necessary technical equipment such as lighting, sound systems and microphones, video equipment in both indoor and outdoor performance spaces.
- Operates counterweight fly system, including adding and removing counter weight to and from arbor. Must be able to climb ladders and repetitively lift 25lbs.
- Operates equipment during performances, such as spot light, light board, audio mixer, and video switcher in both indoor and outdoor performance spaces.
- Assists with constructing and breaking down sets.
- Unloads and loads trucks of theatrical equipment, such as speakers, lighting equipment, deck pieces, rigging equipment.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Moves set pieces and other equipment on and off the stage during performances.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the performance venue and its backstage areas.
- Perform repairs and routine maintenance on theatrical equipment.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or
equivalent combination of education and work experience. - Must meet the physical requirements and be able to consistently lift minimally 50lbs.
