| Position Highlights |
Advises students and staff on the degree candidacy application process, senior degree audits, and academic policy issues. Assists with improving current processes and diploma management. Serves as college liaison with faculty and staff advisors and students. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement. While many responsibilities may be completed remotely, the role requires weekly onsite presence at the Tucson, Arizona campus to fulfill duties that must be performed in person. | Duties & Responsibilities |
- Advises students and staff on the degree candidacy application process, senior degree audits, and academic policy issues.
- Certifies completion of degree programs, posts degrees on the student information system (Uaccess).
- Makes adjustments to students' records including changing or adding majors and minors and adjusting repeat codes.
- Serves as college liaison with faculty and staff advisors and students, maintains accurate records of degree audits and responds to phone, email, and in-person inquiries regarding application for degree candidacy, senior degree audits, and graduation issues.
- Assists team lead with current and new projects that will provide more efficiency in the awarding process and participates in testing new programs and processes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of University of Arizona policies.
- Ability to effectively use standardized software programs including Microsoft Office Suite and UAccess.
- Ability to learn new software and systems.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Focused attention to detail skills and a high standard of excellence.
- High levels of initiative, dependability, flexibility and motivation skills.
- Ability to establish, maintain and sustain positive, professional working relationships internally and cross-functionally.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an office environment.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
