Medical Assistant/Tech Supervisor BH Psychiatry Admin Full Time 88439BR Job Summary Supervises patient care support staff providing interdisciplinary basic patient-care activities, such as medical assistants, technicians, nurse assistants, dental assistants (RDA), dental hygienists (RDH) etc. Assists in ensuring the quality of patient care delivery in assigned clinic(s) and serves as a role model. Assists with the administration and management of personnel, fiscal, and material resources. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $76,600 - $114,900 (Annual Rate). Strong knowledge of practice operations. In depth knowledge of patient support care clinical standards and care delivery, systems, external regulations, and internal policies. Working knowledge of human resources management policies, with the ability to train, monitor, evaluate, and document human resources issues and performance, and to participate in decision-making on human resources matters. Detail oriented, with the ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to quickly analyze problems, determine appropriate level of intervention, and apply effective solutions. Solid interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and problem solving with all levels of management and staff. Skills in written and verbal communications, with the ability to convey clinical and technical information in a clear and concise manner. Knowledge of business software and specialized applications and data management systems used in clinic / center patient care.
