Job Title: Financial Modeling Consultant (Contract) Location: Fully Remote Compensation: $75 per hour Engagement Type: Ongoing Contract/Consulting About the Role: An AI research initiative focused on advancing machine learning capabilities in financial analysis is seeking experienced finance professionals to contribute to a specialized modeling project. The initiative engages finance experts to create high-quality Excel-based financial models paired with structured instructions that help train advanced AI systems to understand sophisticated financial analysis workflows. All modeling work is hypothetical and fully sanitized, and contributions are used exclusively for AI training and research purposes. What You'll Do As a Financial Modeling Consultant, you will: Build professional Excel financial models, including leveraged buyout (LBO) models, operating models, and scenario or sensitivity analyses. Develop structured prompts and instructions that guide AI systems in replicating financial modeling workflows. Contribute new financial models or sanitized versions of previously built models (with all confidential information removed). Work independently and asynchronously in a fully remote environment. Apply real-world financial modeling expertise to help advance AI capabilities in finance. Required Background To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have prior Investment Banking experience and a strong foundation in financial modeling.
