Description and Requirements This role is for an internship with the ECAD and MCAD Design Tools team, which supports the worldwide hardware development teams in the Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG). This role is core to the Server Development organization in providing the Electrical and Mechanical component libraries necessary to design and deliver innovative server designs across ISG's ThinkSystem portfolio. This librarian intern will be on a team responsible for the creation and maintenance of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) component models including logic, footprints padstack and component metadata, while ensuring they are compliant with JEDEC and IPC industry standards. Engagement with engineering, supplier quality teams and card manufacturing will provide the candidate with engagement across functional teams around the world. The intern will be an active member of the development team that is highly motivated to engage, understand and solve the technical challenges of today and shape the server designs of tomorrow.
