The Information Technology Revenue Cycle Analyst plays a critical role in the Health Care industry by analyzing and optimizing revenue cycle processes through the effective use of information technology. This role is responsible for identifying areas of improvement, implementing system enhancements, and ensuring accurate and timely billing and reimbursement. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to streamline revenue cycle operations and maximize financial performance.

Essential Job Function
  • Conducts detailed analysis of revenue cycle processes, including billing, coding, and reimbursement, to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborates with IT and revenue cycle teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades, ensuring seamless integration and improved efficiency.
  • Develops and maintains revenue cycle performance metrics and reports, providing insights and recommendations to drive financial performance and compliance.
  • Stays up to date with industry regulations and best practices related to revenue cycle management, ensuring compliance and implementing necessary changes.
  • Provides training and support to end-users on revenue cycle systems and processes, ensuring proper utilization and adherence to established protocols.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify and resolve revenue cycle issues, implementing corrective actions and process improvements to enhance financial outcomes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
  • Required: Bachelors Degree

Experience
  • Preferred: 0-1 years

Licensure/Certification/Listing
  • Preferred: Experience with data management platforms and programming languages such as EPIC, Clarity Data Model Certification, SQL.
