Primary Purpose
Ensures accurate and timely execution of warehouse activities by guiding team efforts and maintaining adherence to safety and operational standards. Oversees a frontline operations warehouse team responsible for inventory accuracy, material movement, and maintaining compliance with company safety standards. Based at the Port Arthur, Texas site, this position works closely with Materials Management, Procurement, and Maintenance teams to ensure alignment across warehouse activities, field support, and SAP-driven processes. Serves as the operational link between internal stakeholders, field crews, and leadership, ensuring efficient material availability and reliable service delivery across the organization. Duties and Responsibilities * Oversees the creation, staging, and accuracy of material kits, ensuring all components are properly assembled in SAP and physically prepared to support maintenance and operational work orders. * Collaborates closely with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, resolve inventory discrepancies, and ensure alignment with service-level expectations. * Utilizes SAP reporting tools such as MB52, MD04, and ME2M to monitor inventory levels, stock availability, and replenishment needs. * Oversees day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards. * Assigns tasks and monitors progress to meet shipping and receiving schedules. * Reviews inventory reports and resolves discrepancies promptly. * Provides coaching and on-the-job training for team members. * Ensures proper use and maintenance of material-handling equipment. * Communicates priorities and operational updates to staff clearly. * Tracks performance metrics and reports results to management. * Recommends and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency. * Performs other duties as assigned. | |
