Medical Receptionist - Neuromuscular
Columbia, MD Pay From: $18 per hour MUST: Experienced Medical Receptionist 1+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist 1+ years of medical office experience Ability to multitask Strong scheduling experience EMR experience Knowledge of patient accounts and insurances Excellent customer service Neuromuscular experience is a plus DUTIES: Greet patients Answer incoming calls Scheduling appointments Checking patients in and out Answer questions over phone to determine where phone call should be transferred Schedule appointments in the EMR system Generate and complete precertification requests for appointments Review upcoming schedules for accuracy Collect co-pays and balances Set up automatic appointment reminder system daily Handle complaints Insurance verification Other duties as assigned Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
