Network Engineer

Looking for: A missiondriven Mid-Level Network Engineer with an active DoD Secret Clearance and Security+ certification to join our team at AMERICAN SYSTEMS! You will be providing critical realtime monitoring, analysis, and support to National Priority network environments.

Support Network sustainability at Air Control Squadron Blue Ash in Cincinnati, OH to support network modernization efforts.
• Install, configure, cut over, test, and validate Cisco, Avaya, and Juniperbased network solutions, including routers, switches, and security appliances.
• Collaborate with base personnel to isolate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Layer 2/Layer 3 network issues.
• Ensure full and accurate cutover of missioncritical network functionality.
• Update engineering documentation, diagrams, and site reports to produce complete and accurate asbuilt packages.

• Active DoD Secret security clearance
• U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
• Demonstrated experience conducting network equipment installations and cutovers.
• Bachelors Degree and 6 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 12 years of relevant experience
• Security+ certification required
• Networking certifications to include at least one of the following: Cisco CCNA, Avaya ASTA, Juniper JNCIA (current).
• Willingness to travel when required (CONUS).
• Willingness to support a 24/7 shift rotation environment.
