We are hiring an Associate Project Manager/ Project Manager to lead innovative product development at Steelcase's world-class innovation center. You'll Support Meaningful Work By

  • Lead new product development projects from concept through market launch
  • Align cross-functional teams and stakeholders around project scope, goals, and timelines
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring accountability and transparency
  • Lead/facilitate decision-making reviews and influence business priorities
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance future project outcomes

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Project Management, Business, Engineering or related field or military equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Steelcase will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Familiarity with the product development lifecycle (PDL)-including supply chain, engineering, or design
  • Experience using Smartsheet or similar project management tools
  • Experience influencing business leaders and managing stakeholder alignment
  • Ability to understand and evaluate financial implications of project decisions
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience leading product development or similar cross-functional projects
