SUMMARY The Wealth Management Business Support Specialist II provides operational, tax, and escrow support to the Wealth Management team through proficient handling of workflow processing responsibilities utilizing multiple platforms. This position's emphasis will reside in the area of tax reporting obligations for Wealth Management accounts by working closely with team members and vendors to execute operational requirements in support of the overall Wealth Management strategy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cross-trains on all middle office and escrow responsibilities to maintain business continuity.
- Manages all aspects of client and fiduciary tax reporting in support of the Wealth Management team by applying experience and knowledge of estate, gift, fiduciary, and income tax.
- Processes monthly Wealth Management revenues, assembles and analyzes periodic reports for Finance and Committee.
- Acts as liaison in a business partnership role with various third-party vendors that support Wealth Management, tax, and escrow functions.
- Reviews and approves transactions associated with marketable and non-marketable assets and perform quality review on assigned procedures.
- Applies knowledge of intermediate accounting principles and trust accounting in areas of application, research, and complex problem-solving.
- Provides support to Wealth Management offices and escrow, including prompt response to all inquiries, in a professional and responsive manner consistent within department standards and guidelines.
- Completes special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred
- 4-6 years experience in middle- or back-office operations, or accounting, within an investment, trust, or wealth management firm required
- Exposure and knowledge of estate, gift, fiduciary income, and individual income tax preferred
