This position reports to the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Affairs in the School of Engineering and Applied Science. Generally, this role is an individual contributor with responsibility for overseeing the operations in the Engineering Undergraduate Programs Office. The Operations Manager spends majority of time leading the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills including project and event management, fiscal reporting and reimbursement, and team support in the context of undergraduate education. This can include processes of planning and forecasting undergraduate scholarships, answering office emails, phone calls, and walk ins, supporting the Director of Undergraduate Success with tutor and graduate assistant hiring and payment, as well as event guidance for annual events like Engineering Open House and Final Exercises. This position will be responsible for preparing account certification for the programs which report to the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education, including Engineering Career Development, the Office of Undergraduate Programs, Rodman Scholars, and Experiential Learning. The Operations Manager must be a productive individual contributor who takes on and initiates projects with general parameters and works independently with general to limited supervision. Problems faced are difficult and may be complex. This role coordinates the updating of the Undergraduate Record and influences undergraduate policies, practices, and procedures. Lastly, the Operations Manager has project management responsibilities such as Major Declaration and supervises office student staff to help with routine and simple office tasks. Salary range of between $65,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience. This position will remain open until filled. This is an exempt level, benefited position.
