We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join a key planning team focused on a specific apparel segment. Candidates must have a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, a retail or planning background and experience working with an apparel retailer. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing strategic assortment plans, directly influencing product availability and market success. Your expertise will ensure that the right products are available at the right time, delighting customers and driving business growth. Responsibitlities



  • Develop and manage comprehensive assortment plans, focusing on product mix, volume, and seasonal flow.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and sales data to inform planning decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, merchandising, and sales teams to align on product strategies.
  • Utilize planning tools and systems to optimize inventory levels and forecast demand accurately.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.
  • Ensure the successful execution of product launches and promotional activities.


Qualifications



  • 3-5 years of experience in a planning or retail-related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proven background in retail or planning, specifically in merchandising planning or assortment planning.
  • Experience working with a well-known apparel retailer.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience with a major apparel brand is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of assortment planning principles and practices is preferred.
