As a Security Officer - Night Patrol in Des Moines, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site teams, document observations, and respond to concerns with a customer service mindset. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, directing visitor check-in processes, and monitoring deliveries and/or vendor arrivals in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed shift documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and equipment observations, and communicate notable conditions to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
