As an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage site entry points by verifying credentials, welcoming visitors, and maintaining accurate logs using a computer and/or tablet. You will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols, staying visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support smooth operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and employees by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing badges and/or passes, and directing arrivals to the proper check-in areas.
• Monitor and document inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic, including delivery and shipping activity, while following established access control protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the chain of command and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Complete routine patrols of assigned areas near entrances, gates, and perimeter points, and report unusual conditions to help to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
