As an Access Control Officer at a busy retail distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, greet associates and visitors with standout customer service, and document activity with clear communication. You will maintain a visible presence and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents while supporting daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, location policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Control access at entry points by checking identification, issuing and collecting visitor credentials, maintaining logs, and directing visitors to approved areas.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing traffic such as employees, contractors, deliveries, and carrier drivers by verifying authorization, coordinating check-in and/or check-out, and reporting irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating to site leadership and/or public services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, dock zones, and perimeter access points, noting hazards and reporting maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
