We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the core Acrobat Web team.

What you'll Do

  • Real passion for building new tools and technologies, continuous improvement is the goal.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with changing requirements.
  • Participate in story mapping, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews on a two-week cadence.
  • Design & develop key UI features and shared components for Acrobat Web .
  • Collaborate with architects, product managers, and design teams to craft the most optimized and delightful user experience.
  • Partner with core engineering teams to build and integrate shared components, Have meaningful ownership.
  • You'll drive important decisions about how we build and grow Acrobat Web and have a strong say in what we build next.
  • Write readable, performant, bug-free code. Look for ways to continually improve the product and process.
  • Work effectively in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment.

What is needed to succeed

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with strong computer science fundamentals
  • 8+ years of full-stack Software Development and Engineering, including software design, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
  • 6+ years of proven experience working in a client-server architecture building web applications with web frameworks like ReactJS or equivalent,
  • 5+ Solid working experience with state management frameworks like - Redux/ MobX, Flux, hooks or Zustand.
  • 5+ Strong experience with modern web application build processes - Webpack, GruntJS, Babel, npm, eslint.
  • Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Storybook and Playwright.
  • Eager to use AI assisted development - Cursor, Co-pilot or Claude
  • Experience using RESTful API services with JSON, XML.
  • Experience working with AWS or Azure is a plus.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $139,000 -- $257,550 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $177,900 - $257,550

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
