Mid Level Java Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Mid Level Java Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves developing scalable, high-availability enterprise applications within a microservices-based architecture. The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and React.js to build and maintain robust systems, utilizing event streaming platforms like Kafka and Oracle databases.

Responsibilities:

• Build microservices-based architectures using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop modern frontend applications using React.js
• Work with Apache Kafka or other event streaming platforms
• Utilize and performance-tune Oracle databases
• Design scalable, high-availability enterprise applications
• Implement software architecture patterns and best practices
• Engage in problem-solving, debugging, and system design

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in software development
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience building microservices-based architectures
• Experience with Apache Kafka or other event streaming platforms
• Strong experience with Oracle databases, including performance tuning
• Experience developing modern frontend applications using React.js
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, distributed systems, and asynchronous processing
• Experience designing scalable, high-availability enterprise applications
• Solid understanding of software architecture patterns and best practices
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills
• Excellent communication and technical leadership abilities

Pay range: $51.97 - $59.97 per hour
