Join Our Team as a Production Supervisor at Epiroc!

The job of the Production Supervisor is to lead daily operations by ensuring safe, efficient, and highquality production across all shifts. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement, strengthening teamwork, and maintaining clear communication with employees and leadership. With a strong Safety First focus, the Production Supervisor works to enhance the working environment, support employee development, and uphold the standards that enable the team to meet customer expectations in quality, delivery, and cost.

Work Type: Onsite

Work Location:Ft Loudon, PA

Shift Timings: Mainly first shift but we expect them few times a month to spend time with the second shift folks or third shift

Responsibilities:



  • Consistently enforce the need to maintain an orderly department to minimize accidents.
  • Work with the SHEQ department to ensure compliance with plant environmental operational controls and work procedures.
  • Ensure teammates in their departments receive appropriate documented training.
  • Report any equipment malfunction to ensure efficient plant operation and accomplish facility EMS objectives and targets.
  • Along with assistance from HR, help maintain employee records for, attendance, training, overtime, job performance and annual review process.
  • Communicate with personnel on any schedule changes and assist them in resolving production issues to ensure customer orders are completed in a safe and timely manner.
  • Communicate, in a timely manner, with Production Manager, Scheduler, and other Management staff status of production progress keeping them appraised of any issues that may impact order completion.
  • Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems and alerting Production Manager and Quality staff if product quality is in question immediately.
  • Must be able to foster a positive work environment and build a team that is fully committed to continuous improvement.
  • Communicate with HR any personnel issues, the need for guidance and or support.
  • Provide proper documentation for any coaching/counseling.
  • Manage staff selection, performance, development and training processes to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations.
  • Tracks and resolves labor timekeeping issues.
  • Safeguard assets of the company in general but most specifically those within your area of responsibility.
  • Assist SHEQ in promoting and monitoring Safety First initiatives and goals as stated in the MR Operational Policy throughout the organization.
  • Will actively participate in the plant Safety Committee and encourage team's engagement with safety improvements.
  • Will frequently adjust schedule to touch base with all team members assigned to second and third shifts, and weekend shifts.



Knowledge / Education Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree is a plus
  • Technical School in the machinist or related trade is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in all processes and equipment functions.
  • 3 to 7 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous supervisory experience a plus
  • Computer skills - experience with manufacturing systems, Microsoft Office Suite

The work environment includes being regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds, frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds and is occasionally required to lift up to and in excess of 100 pounds.
