What to Expect The Robotaxi Engineering and Operations team is at the center of product design and deployment of autonomous vehicles. From the launch of Robotaxi on MY in 2025 to the revolutionaryCybercabproduct coming this year, team Robotaxi is at thecutting edgeof AV technology. This roleis responsible foradapting Tesla's Service processes and systems to achieve the goals of the Robotaxi program. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation, strong technical acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex challenges, thriving in a fast-paced setting where adaptability and problem-solving drive the future of transportation. What You'll Do Develop and implement operational systems for Robotaxi Service,determiningoptimalmaintenance cycles while minimizing downtime Create maximal operational efficiency in the Service process through software or hardware automation Develop strategy and execution ensuring Robotaxi products deliver on their operational cost target, regularly presenting to our executive team Utilize field data to influence the hardware design of current and future Robotaxi products Monitor key performance metrics, analyze operational data, and drive continuous improvements to enhance reliability and user satisfaction Scale Robotaxi Service to new marketswith field validation, assessing risks, and automationstrategydevelopment fromreal-world feedback Delivercross-functionaloperationalsynergy(engineering, software, Autopilot, service, finance)to meetprogram goals What You'll Bring Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience 4 years of experience in technical program management Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or related high-tech industries Strong understanding of autonomous vehicle systems, software development, and hardware integration Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, sensor systems, and fleet management software Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar) and Agile/Scrum methodologies Demonstrated ability to lead and align cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and operations groups Excellent communication skills to present technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels, including executives Experience driving collaboration in fast-paced, innovative environments with ambiguous or evolving requirements Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $112,000 - $253,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
