Summary Provides supervision to the Talent Acquisition team for Corporate areas. Monitors and provides support and guidance on full life-cycle recruitment efforts for internal business units with recruitment needs. Combines leading-edge resources and technology to deliver best in class talent for critical business needs. Provides supervision through the full life-cycle recruitment process to include client engagement, and recruiting strategy development. Corporate-wide recruitment projects and initiatives. Monitors internal and external recruitment efforts. Works with Human Resources leadership to track metrics such as time-to-fill, recruiter yield rations and other department key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop and maintain relationships and network within community groups, vendors, and various talent partners. Description

Location: This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday in a typical office environment. This role is onsite at 51 Clemson Rd. Columbia, SC.

Position Purpose: The Talent Acquisition Supervisor provides leadership and oversight to the Talent Acquisition team supporting corporate business areas. This role guides full life-cycle recruitment efforts, partnering with internal leaders to develop effective hiring strategies and deliver high-quality talent for critical business needs. The supervisor monitors internal and external recruiting activities, supports corporate-wide recruitment initiatives, and leverages technology and market insights to enhance talent acquisition outcomes. In collaboration with Human Resources leadership, this role tracks key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and recruiter yield ratios, while also building strong relationships with community partners, vendors, and talent networks to strengthen the organization's talent pipeline.

What You'll Do:

  • Supervises and works with Talent Acquisition team to conduct full life cycle recruiting best practices. Works with recruiters and hiring managers to develop hiring strategy while maintaining efficiency in the full cycle recruiting process for all divisions. Actively participates in the selection process and ensures that everyone is aligned and executing toward the desired outcome. Knows and guides the team with the best sourcing channels to reach different candidate segments.

  • Ensures effective and compliant recruitment practices by supervising and coaching recruiters and consulting with various Corporate Lines of Business (LOBs) and manager. Provides guidance to management and HR professionals with hiring and employment data. Maintains effective recruitment programs while in compliance with corporate, state, federal, legal, and regulatory compliance requirements. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates working activities with other supervisors and managers.

  • Develops and maintains working relations with hiring managers through the corporation. Partners with hiring manager to understand business unit objectives/needs related to the open position, such as skills, knowledge, experience, and competencies required in order to effectively screen and interview candidates. Trains hiring management on behavioral interview techniques and best selection practices. Assists with the development of corporate policy for talent bench-marking, assessment and interviewing policies.

  • Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track information within the online recruiting system and produces individual recruiting metrics. Prepares, reviews, and submits staffing activity and analysis as well as other reports for management. Ensures decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plans and receives guidance and oversight from management.

  • Stays current on hiring trends, competitor information, and employment market conditions. Understands business and market conditions in order to ensure candidate pipelines stay at appropriate levels to accommodate anticipated demand in line with corporate growth and business initiatives. Maintains recruitment events and attends conferences to represent the corporation and source top talent. Participates on Talent Acquisition projects and/or broader organizational initiatives as assigned.

To Qualify For This Position, You'll Need The Following:

  • Required Education: Bachelor's in a job related field

  • Degree Equivalency: 4 years job related work experience or Associate's and 2 years job related work experience

  • Required Experience: 5 Years recruitment/talent acquisition or HR Operations, Organizational Development, or HR Project & Process management experience. Previous Team Lead or supervisory experience.

  • Required Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects to time and effective completion. Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service, analytical, and mathematical skills. Strong attention to detail. Able to work independently, make rapid and sound recommendations, and guide less experiences staff. Ability to lead and motivate staff. Demonstrated understanding of how Recruitment and Talent Acquisition programs effect an organization and successfully link it to processes. Thorough knowledge of hiring laws and regulations that impact the hiring process and human resources processes.

  • Required Software and Other Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office and data retrieval tools. Experience with applicant tracking systems and/or Human Capital Management Systems

We Prefer That You Have The Following:

  • Preferred Work Experience: Early Careers, College Recruiting experience.

  • Preferred Licenses and Certificates: Professional designation in Human Resources, such as PHR or SPHR.

  • Highly Preferred: 2+ years of technical recruiting experience.

  • Proven track record managing filling senior and specialized technical roles.

*Work Environment: Typical office environment. Travel between office buildings and some out of town travel.
