Salesforce Developer

Location(s): New York / North Carolina / Georgia / Florida / Connecticut (Hybrid / Remote)

About the Role

The Business Applications team is responsible for designing, supporting, and continuously enhancing the enterprise platforms that power our core business processes. We partner closely with stakeholders across the organization to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and reliable solutions, including Salesforce and other critical systems.

Our team is highly collaborative and cross-functional, bringing together product owners, developers, administrators, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality applications that drive efficiency, enable data-driven decision-making, and provide a strong user experience. How You Will Make an Impact

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce applications, Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Platform Events, Lightning Components, and triggers.
  • Implement and configure Salesforce features, including custom objects, fields, flows and validation rules.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other internal and external systems using APIs, web services, and middleware.
  • Perform data migration, data quality analysis, and data cleansing activities.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and propose effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and release notes.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for existing Salesforce applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with new Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards and best practices

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Proven expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data model, and security model.
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Metadata API) and integrating Salesforce with other systems.
  • Proficiency in SOQL and SOSL.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required; Platform Developer II is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience with CPQ is preferred.

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. New York: The expected base salary for the position is between 100,000 USD to 110,000 USD. Massachusetts: The expected base salary for the position is between 100,000 USD to 110,000 USD. In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company's discretion.
