ROLE OVERVIEW:

This is a seasonal position, you can use your winters off to travel, hunt, fish or for other activities you enjoy while your benefits continue year round.

This position is responsible to safely supervise, and coordinate activities of workers engaged in our Aggregate crushing and efficiently run the operation to produce quality material in a timely manner. Travel required throughout our ND operation. Will need to display a professional and courteous attitude with customers and team members.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES (summary of components that make up the job)



  1. Perform daily equipment inspections, walk-arounds, and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained and repaired.
  2. Coordinate the daily activities of the crusher crew, ensuring efficient operation of crushing equipment.
  3. Operate and troubleshoot crushers, screen plants, and wash plants as necessary.
  4. Ensure all equipment is properly set up, operated, and maintained.
  5. Monitor the quality of materials being crushed and ensure they meet required specifications.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, coordinating repairs or adjustments when necessary.
  7. Prepare and submit daily production reports and safety logs.
  8. Conduct regular safety meetings and equipment checks to promote a safe work environment.
  9. Maintain inventory of materials and supplies needed for crushing operations.
  10. Communicate effectively with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members.
  11. Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, and haul trucks as needed to support crushing operations.
  12. Coach and monitor team members and sites to comply with MSHA and safety regulations and assist in training new employees.
  13. Coordinate and/or deliver aggregate samples to the lab to ensure quality assurance.
  14. Approve and submit work hours of personnel and pertinent job information daily.
  15. Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety, and environmental regulations.
  16. Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (preferred requirements i.e. certifications, software use, etc.)

As a successful Foreman you will have:



  1. Minimum 5 years experience in product line
  2. Ability to hold and maintain proper licensure and acceptable driving record.
  3. Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime, possible nights and some Saturdays.
