Job Summary The Associate Director, Information Systems & Data Intelligence, provides vision, leadership, and strategic management for enterprise applications, integrations, data governance, and analytics across the institution. This role manages the Data Management Department and multiple functional areas, with management focus primarily on strategic rather than operational matters. The Associate Director serves as administrative and programmatic support to the Director of Information Systems & Data Intelligence and serves as Director in his/her absence. Responsibilities include ensuring the integrity, security, accessibility, and value of institutional data while partnering with campus stakeholders to deliver reliable systems and actionable insights that advance organizational goals.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related discipline with six (6) years of experience in related field including managerial experience. Desired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Analystics, or Computer Science preferred. Experience in highly regulated or mission-driven environments (e.g., higher education, nonprofit, or public sector) Hands-on familiarity with modern data architectures (cloud data warehouses/lakes, lakehouse patterns) and data security/privacy frameworks Track record leading organizational change, building governance structures, and maturing data capabilities across multiple departments or functional areas Experience serving in senior leadership absence and representing unit at executive level Job Category Administrative Advertised Salary $105,000 - $120,000 Working Condition(s) Required to spend 50% or more of time operating a computer Pre-Employment Requirements Expanded Background Check Other Information Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
