Job Title: PMS Technician

Location(s): Linwood, PA

Job Summary
Under the supervision of onsite engineers, the PMS Technician conducts investigations of suspected non-conforming devices and materials originating from patient and/or clinical failure reports. The role is responsible for documenting investigation outcomes within the complaint handling system, identifying recurring issues, and escalating complaints when severity exceeds thresholds defined in the Risk Management File (RMF).

Additional responsibilities include device handling, inventory coordination, and ensuring proper cleaning and disinfection of returned materials associated with complaints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct investigations on suspected non-conforming devices and materials based on complaint reports.
  • Accurately document investigation findings within the complaint handling system.
  • Identify and communicate recurring issues; escalate complaints when severity exceeds predefined risk thresholds.
  • Support inventory management activities, including movement of devices back to the field.
  • Perform cleaning and disinfection of incoming complaint-related materials in compliance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support departmental processes impacting medical technology products.
  • Execute day-to-day operational tasks related to technical complaint investigations in a dynamic, regulated environment.
  • Participate in team meetings by contributing ideas, capturing detailed meeting minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting reports or findings for internal and external stakeholders with a high level of accuracy.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, regulatory expectations, and best practices; continuously build technical knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
  • High School Diploma with 2+ years of experience.
  • College or vocational education preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a regulated environment.

  • None required.
