Supply Chain Value Analysis & Engineering (VAVE) Data Analytics

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Execute a VSM Explosion: Map product families down to individual Bills of Materials (BOM) to create a comprehensive end-to-end value stream visual.
  • Build Analytical Dashboards: Collaborate with IT, Global Supply Chain (GSC) Analytics, and stakeholders to develop a visualization tool that identifies vendor-to-product mapping and material commonality.
  • Identify Strategic Similarities: Analyze BOMs to find overlaps in materials and components, enabling opportunities for part standardization and supplier consolidation.
  • Synthesize Commercial Data: Integrate geographic sales distribution and gross margin calculations into a single-pane-of-glass product snapshot.
  • Empower VAVE Processes: Provide the data-driven "snapshot" necessary for the engineering and sourcing teams to execute value analysis and cost-reduction initiatives.
