As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, and support visitor and driver check-ins. You will maintain a visible presence, complete routine patrols, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with operations teams to help reduce incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at vehicle gates and building entrances by checking identification, confirming delivery and pickup appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing drivers to designated docks and staging areas.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and radio traffic and document access activity, exceptions, and incidents using required logs and reporting tools.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and assisting with scene control as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or loss prevention concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
