Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.02 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and/or actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or deliveries in accordance with location rules and government facility protocols.
  • Communicate with site contacts, employees, visitors, and/or public agency personnel regarding security-related concerns, directions, and incident reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
