The Custom Cloud Solutions (CCS) Hardware Validation Group is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of next generation data center ASIC and SoC products spanning a diverse portfolio that includes cloud infrastructure, AI accelerators, network processors, NICs, custom ASICs, SSD controllers, CXL devices, and domain specific accelerators.

The team owns end to end hardware validation, working across the product lifecycle from early silicon bring up through system level qualification. Our scope includes functional hardware validation, electrical characterization, high speed SERDES validation, and system/platform validation, all executed in advanced, fully instrumented hardware labs. The group validates complex, high-performance silicon and platforms across a wide range of critical technologies and interfaces, including Memory Subsystems (DDR, HBM, memory controllers), High Speed Interconnects (PCIe, Ethernet, CPRI, PAM4/NRZ), D2D interconnects, Storage, and IO (Flash and NVME, SSD controllers, USB) and System and Platform testing.

What You Can Expect

As an Electrical Characterization PostSilicon Engineer, you will:
* Support the development and execution of postsilicon electrical validation and characterization tests to ensure complex SoC devices meet defined electrical specifications and performance targets.
* Assist in the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of test automation frameworks and measurement methodologies to improve validation efficiency, consistency, and coverage.
* Help debug and resolve electrical issues by isolating root causes related to silicon design, test setup, measurement methodology, or specification interpretation.
* Collaborate closely with IP, analog, RTL, firmware/software, and validation teams to define characterization requirements, analyze results, and drive timely issue resolution.
* Document test procedures, results, findings, and debug conclusions in a clear, accurate, and structured manner to support design reviews and crossteam communication.

What We're Looking For

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 1-3 years of related professional experience OR Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with no professional experience.
* Basic proficiency or handson familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for data analysis, automation, or testing tasks.
* Exposure to oscilloscopes and standard electrical laboratory equipment through academic coursework, internships, coop programs, or relevant work experience.
* Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problemsolving skills, with the ability to approach technical challenges methodically.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate productively with crossfunctional and global teams.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fastpaced, multitasking, and teamoriented environment, managing priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

103,100 - 152,510, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
