The Senior Buyer - Construction & Industrial Services is responsible for sourcing activities supporting various areas within construction and industrial services at our plants and facilities in North America. The purchasing responsibilities include supplier negotiations, sourcing on time and to target, driving cost savings activities and development and implementation of global commodity strategies, lead the resolution and negotiation of commercial issues, support other buyers on the team with PO placement, sourcing activities and other various tasks. The selected candidate will interact with many cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Finance.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, Economics, International Business, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, or equivalent. Other technical degrees with business background also considered
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant purchasing experience or other disciplines that require significant negotiation/exposure to sourcing processes
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think and act strategically
  • Strong communication, presentation and commodity leadership skills
  • Well organized, self-motivated, and resourceful managing complex situations
  • Ability to support all aspects of the commercial relationship with the supply base and key internal stakeholders
