Director of Information Technology Operations and Infrastructure in Richmond, Virginia. The Director of IT Operations and Infrastructure is the architect of Carter Machinery's digital reliability. In this role, the Director of Operations and Infrastructure manages the transition from legacy on-premises systems to a high-performance Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure environment. The individual in this role oversees hosted and cloud infrastructure, service desk excellence, and field connectivity, ensuring our technicians have the "always-on" tools required to maintain world-class machine uptime.
Seeking candidates with a minimum ten years of IT leadership, with a focus on hybrid-cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred); Proven experience supporting a large-scale ERP migration or administration (Dynamics 365 experience is a major plus); Extensive background in vendor management and ITIL-based service desk optimization.
