Meeting & Events Coordinator| JLL

What this job involves:
As a Meeting & Events Coordinator with JLL, you will serve as the key liaison between event requesters and the events team at the NYC Stripe office. You will ensure seamless execution of meetings and events. You will partner with multiple cross-functional teams including facilities, catering, security, and audio-visual technicians while maintaining exceptional customer service standards and operational efficiency.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage customer service requests to ensure timely response and exceptional customer experience

  • Facilitate communications between event stakeholders and coordinate all event logistics

  • Utilize online ticketing and work order software to track and complete setup requests before deadlines

  • Set up and dismantle meeting and event spaces, ensuring rooms and equipment are clean and functional

  • Support customers and vendors during onsite meetings and events as their primary point of contact

  • Schedule conference rooms and coordinate events using customer preferred scheduling systems

  • Oversee inventory management for workplace supplies, furniture, and equipment.

  • Lead small workplace projects such as minor renovations, furniture installations, and space reconfigurations.

  • Conduct regular facility inspections and quality assurance checks of service delivery.

  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee service performance against agreements.

  • Support the development and implementation of workplace policies and procedures.

  • Assist with emergency response and business continuity planning.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in workplace services, facilities management, or related role.

  • Knowledge of facility operations, systems, and service delivery models.

  • Advanced problem-solving abilities and operational leadership to maintain a productive, comfortable, and efficient event environment.

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and service contracts.

  • Proficiency with facilities management systems and service request platforms.

  • Excellent customer service orientation with exceptional interpersonal skills.

  • Proven problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.

  • Experience coordinating multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels.

  • Background in project coordination and implementation.

  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Professional certification in facilities management (FMP, CFM, or equivalent).

  • Experience in technology company environments or similar corporate settings.

  • Experience managing operational budgets and financial reporting.

  • Knowledge of sustainability practices in workplace operations.

  • Background in continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Experience supporting workplace transformation initiatives.

  • Background in hospitality or service management.

Working Environment

  • Position is based at Stripe's office, requiring full time on-site presence during business hours M-F 8-5pm. There is no remote work flexibility.

  • Involves moving throughout the facility regularly, requiring comfort with standing and walking for extended periods.

  • Includes physical activities such as lmoving light furniture, handling supplies, and accessing various building areas.

  • Requires regular computer use for administrative tasks and reporting.

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

73,000.00 - 78,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
