SPA's Operations Research and C5ISR Analysis (ORCA) Group develops and employs simulation system products in support of operations, experimentation, and the acquisition analysis process. ORCA analysts apply Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools to identify and analyze trends in big data to solve real-world problems. SPA's ORCA group is seeking a junior-level Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Analyst to provide on-site support in San Diego, CA to the Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC) and Space Security & Defense Program (SSDP). SPA employs its simulation system products in support of operations, experimentation, and the acquisition analysis process. MBSE Analysts apply MBSE principles and tools to create models that communicate complex system concepts and support the system design and analysis process. Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team. #KS Responsibilities Responsibilities: Create digital model-based representations of systems and architectures that adhere to SysML syntax rules and style conventions. Translate system requirements and concepts of operation into parametrized structural and behavioral models according to MBSE principles. Assist in the analysis of the performance of DoD programs and systems using commercial and proprietary modeling and simulation tools. Leverage architecture data, modeling, simulation, and analysis assessment processes to evaluate metrics across multiple courses of action. Conduct data collection and specification reviews. Assist in the preparation of deliverables, including presentations and written reports of findings and recommendations. Participate in customer meetings and briefings.
