Are you an experienced construction inspector who brings consistency, accountability, and technical judgment to the field? Do you take pride in being the trusted presence on site-ensuring work is executed correctly, safely, and in alignment with contract documents and industry standards?

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Inspector to join our Construction Inspection Team at a client site in Greenfield, IN. This role is centered in the field, where you will monitor construction activities, document progress, and confirm that workmanship meets project requirements. This is an opportunity to work sidebyside with contractors, project teams, and clients-helping ensure infrastructure projects are delivered with accuracy, integrity, and longterm reliability.



What You'll Do:

    Observe and document construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, and approved submittals
  • Verify quality of completed work through field measurements, computations, and monitoring of contractor quality control efforts
  • Identify nonconforming work and support evaluation of corrective actions to ensure acceptability
  • Review contractor payment applications, change orders, and quantities of completed work to support progress payments
  • Coordinate with owners, contractors, and project teams while maintaining clear reports and accurate project records


What You Bring:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's degree in Engineering Science, Construction Management, or related technical field preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of related construction observation experience required
  • Knowledge of construction techniques and ability to comprehend construction documents
  • Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with project teams and assisting senior team members with complex projects
  • Strong communication and mathematics skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid driver's license required; extensive travel may be required
  • NICET Level III Highways Construction Inspection certification preferred

Salary Range:

$34.00 - $40.00

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
