Title: CNC Mill Machinist Location: San Antonio, TX 78226 Duration: 6 months assignment with possible extension. Shift Schedule: First & Second Shift (6:00 AM- 12:30 PM) Pay Rate: $31/hr. on W2 without Benefits Role & Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC milling machines. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures. Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment. Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Document production data and maintain accurate records. Required Skills/Experience: 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist 5+ years of experience in operating CNC machines (milling, turning, etc.) 5+ years of experience in G-code programming and CNC controls Strong computing skills, excellent communication skills and customer-oriented Ability to work a variable shift (1st or 2nd) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CAD/CAM/CATIA software Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
