Department Summary This Health Business Specialist position will be located within the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) and assigned to the Correctional Medicine Department (CMD). This position will report to the Director of Business Operations with additional collaboration with the CMD Executive Director of Clinical Operations, CMD Financial Operations Manager, CMD Assoc Vice President, and CMD Medical Director. Position Overview This position will assist with coordinating and supervising the clinical operations for UNTHSC Comprehensive Medical Services. The incumbent may also assist with coordinating and supervising contracts with the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) and other Correctional Medicine Department-assigned projects and contracts. Minimum Qualifications Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and five (5) years of demonstrated clinical office experience to include clinical scheduling for multi-specialty group practice and related back-office experience.
