What does this job involve?

Join our creative team of global innovators and problem solvers as a IBM TRIRIGA Business Analyst. You'll engage in the analysis and implementation of TRIRIGA-based solutions, serving as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of TRIRIGA applications.

This role focuses on understanding business requirements, documenting functional specifications, and working closely with clients to translate their needs into effective TRIRIGA solutions. You'll work independently and as part of a team, communicating with multiple stakeholders while collaborating with clients, onsite teams, and developers to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementations.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:
  • Gathering and analyzing business requirements for TRIRIGA-based solutions

  • Documenting functional specifications and creating detailed business requirements documents with acceptance criteria

  • Facilitating workshops and interviews with stakeholders to understand business processes and pain points

  • Translating business requirements into functional designs for the development team

  • Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance throughout solution development stages

  • Creating process flows, user personas, use cases, and user stories to guide development efforts

  • Serving as liaison between clients, business users, and technical development teams

  • Providing business process expertise and recommending TRIRIGA best practices

  • Assisting with change management and user training initiatives

  • Contributing to effort estimation and project planning activities

  • Active Top Secret Clearance (required)

  • Ability to commute to client location in Washington DC area

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred, or comparable work experience

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with TRIRIGA business analysis (preferred; will train the right candidate in TRIRIGA with strong BA background)

  • Strong business analysis background with experience gathering and documenting requirements

  • Understanding of TRIRIGA Application Platform functionality and capabilities

  • Knowledge of TRIRIGA workflows, business objects, and data structures

  • Familiarity with real estate, facilities management, or workplace services business processes is a plus

  • Experience creating business requirements documents, functional specifications, and process flows

  • Proficiency with requirements management and documentation tools, such as Azure DevOps

  • Understanding of TRIRIGA reporting capabilities and BIRT reporting

  • Experience facilitating workshops, conducting stakeholder interviews, and presenting to leadership

  • Working knowledge of Agile and waterfall methodologies

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to understand complex business problems

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences

  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work through issues independently

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively in team settings

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

  • Experience with user acceptance testing coordination and functional test case development

Estimated compensation for this position:

116,900.00 - 169,300.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
