This is a part time position working 20 hours/week on day shift.

This position is responsible supervising volunteers who provide support in various Providence Hospice programs. Volunteer supervision includes recruitment, screening, orientation and training, assignment of duties and ongoing supervision, individual and group support, retention, and recognition. The Volunteer Services Coordinator is a member of the hospice team and serves as a consultant to other team members regarding volunteer issues; additionally, this position is responsible tracking Volunteer data and other administrative duties that support the Volunteer Services Program.

Required Qualifications:



  • Associate's Degree Preferably in Health Care related field or Social Services
  • 2 years Experience working with health care or social service organization and/or significant volunteer experience with a leadership role will be considered.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree Preferably in Health Care related field or Social Services
  • Experience coordinating volunteer program.
  • Experience working with databases/database management (Microsoft Access).

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
