Learn more about the UC Office of the President DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW This position is located in the UCOP Human Resources department. We oversee human resources programs and policies for the Office of the President. UCOP HR is dedicated to serving and supporting staff, and to building a work environment where employees feel involved and empowered to offer their best. Building organizational capability and talent is a priority for UCOP. POSITION SUMMARY In this role, you'll support the design and delivery of engaging learning experiences that help employees grow and succeed. Working with the Learning & Development team, you'll contribute to a variety of programs-from onboarding and workshops to organization-wide initiatives-while helping ensure each experience runs smoothly and effectively. Our goal is to create learning that is relevant, accessible, and impactful. You'll help bring this to life by supporting content accessibility, data analysis of surveys, supporting event logistics, and exploring creative ways to improve how learning is delivered. We're also looking for someone who can bring a fresh perspective on how we market and communicate key learning opportunities across the organization. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable learning new technology. We are seeking a self-motivated worker who is eager to learn. As part of the L&D team, you'll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of learning programs-from planning and design to delivery and evaluation-while collaborating with colleagues across the organization. Responsibilities 35 % Works with the learning and development team to ensure processes and learning materials and job aides are organized and accessible. 35% Supports Learning and Development programs and courses, including coordinating supporting logistics, scheduling, marketing and communication. 20% Collects and analyzes data for program effectiveness 10% Provides technical support for in person and virtual learning Required Qualifications Currently enrolled University of California student. In-depth experience in a wide range of social media (personal or professional). Knowledge and experience with Microsoft office products including word and powerpoint. Are organized and enjoy managing projects or events? Have strong communication skills (written and verbal) Comfortable learning new tools and technology Enjoy working with people and supporting team efforts Curious about how people learn and grow in the workplace Take initiative and are excited to contribute ideas Ability to quickly learn relevant technology. Take feedback and work collaboratively Strong work ethic and able to work independently and deliver on deadline. Preferred Qualifications Experience with running meetings on zoom a plus. Experience with excel and data analysis Familiarity with best practices relating to accessibility, or a willingness to learn. Experience supporting events and workshops, Education Currently enrolled UC student. High school graduate and/or equivalent experience/training. SALARY AND BENEFITS Salary: $17.34- $21.68 hourly commensurate with skills/experience.
