Loans Customer Experience Specialist I Overview The Customer Experience Specialist I is an entrylevel customer service role supporting Consumer Direct Lending within the Mortgage Fulfillment Division (MFD). This individual serves as the primary point of contact for consumers following the initial licensed discussion with a Loan Officer, guiding customers through the loan origination process. The role is a key contributor to efficient operations and exceptional customer service and may support one or multiple functions/channels within MFD. Key Responsibilities * Receive and place inbound and outbound calls to consumers regarding mortgage loan inquiries * Handle inbound and outbound text communications (with consumer consent) * Respond to highvolume customer calls and texts in a timely and professional manner * Effectively manage a pipeline of up to 75 loans * Perform routine data entry and data validation tasks * Handle routine calls, emails, and chat responses with consumers, PennyMac employees, and authorized third parties * Collaborate with multiple departments to expedite loan processing and resolve issues * Conduct preliminary or basic research to accurately respond to customer inquiries Required Skills * Customer Service * Data Entry * Loan Processing and Loan Origination * Call Center / Inbound and Outbound Calls * Mortgage and Mortgage Loan Knowledge * Customer Support * Financial Services * Encompass (preferred) Qualifications * Entrylevel candidates welcome * Mortgage and/or financial services call center experience is a plus * Bilingual Spanish is a plus (not required) * General understanding of Federal, State, and Local mortgage regulations is a plus * Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proven ability to deliver timely and accurate work in a fastpaced environment Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA.
