*Loans Customer Experience Specialist I*
*Overview* The *Customer Experience Specialist I* is an entrylevel customer service role supporting *Consumer Direct Lending* within the Mortgage Fulfillment Division (MFD). This individual serves as the *primary point of contact for consumers* following the initial licensed discussion with a Loan Officer, guiding customers through the loan origination process. The role is a key contributor to efficient operations and exceptional customer service and may support one or multiple functions/channels within MFD. *Key Responsibilities* * Receive and place *inbound and outbound calls* to consumers regarding mortgage loan inquiries * Handle *inbound and outbound text communications* (with consumer consent) * Respond to *highvolume customer calls and texts* in a timely and professional manner * Effectively manage a *pipeline of up to 75 loans* * *Perform routine data entry and data validation* tasks * Handle routine *calls, emails, and chat responses* with consumers, PennyMac employees, and authorized third parties * Collaborate with *multiple departments* to expedite loan processing and resolve issues * Conduct preliminary or basic research to accurately respond to customer inquiries *Required Skills* * Customer Service * Data Entry * Loan Processing and Loan Origination * Call Center / Inbound and Outbound Calls * Mortgage and Mortgage Loan Knowledge * Customer Support * Financial Services * Encompass (preferred) *Qualifications* * Entrylevel candidates welcome * Mortgage and/or financial services call center experience is a plus * Bilingual Spanish is a plus (not required) * General understanding of Federal, State, and Local mortgage regulations is a plus * Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proven ability to deliver timely and accurate work in a fastpaced environment *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
