The Mitchell College of Business at the University of South Alabama invites applications for a 9-month, non-tenure track, full-time faculty position in the Department of Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Analytics, effective August 15th, 2026. The rank of the position is a non-tenure track assistant professor. Candidates should exhibit strong potential for engaging in high-quality research and the ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Primary duties will be teaching in the Supply Chain and Logistics Management as well as Marketing areas, teaching in the undergraduate and MBA programs, presenting at valued conferences, and publishing in valued journals. Secondary duties include teaching courses in other areas on an as-needed basis. Availability to teach courses both in-person and online is expected. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needs arise, and broader service to the department, college, and university is also expected. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate the motivation and capability to sustain an innovative program of research, as evidenced by relevant academic publications, presentations, and/or working papers. Successful candidates are also expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, as evidenced by prior teaching experiences. PhD/DBA in Marketing or a related field from an accredited institution is required. Eighteen graduate credit hours in the field of Marketing or extensive work experience in these areas is required to demonstrate necessary proficiency. Must meet the faculty qualifications of the University of South Alabama and Mitchell College of Business. Experience teaching marketing at the college level is preferred.
