The Logistics Analyst supports daily inbound and outbound transportation activities to ensure shipments are on time, compliant, and aligned with customer and regulatory requirements. This role coordinates with manufacturing sites, freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and our 3PL to resolve issues, manage shipment priorities, and maintain clear communication across stakeholders.

The analyst also supports inventory reconciliation, transportation reporting, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational performance. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, ERP proficiency (SAP preferred), and a solid understanding of warehousing, distribution, and regulatory compliance.

Position Location:

Based at the US Distribution Center (Mechanicsburg, PA) , this position offers hybrid flexibility in accordance with company policy.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future.

What you'll bring to the role:

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in Distribution/Warehousing/Transportation or related functions

  • Advanced knowledge of cGMPs, FDA and Drug Enforcement Regulation

  • Preferred knowledge/use of SAP

  • Strong PC skills (spreadsheet, query, graphics, and word processing).

Skills:

  • Strong Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)

Key Capabilities Required:

  • Daily Operations and Issue Resolution
    Responsible for daily coordination of inbound and outbound shipments to satisfy both internal, regulatory and customer requirements and updating stakeholders. This includes working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, domestic carriers and the Sandoz Third-Party Logistics Provider (3PL). Act as the primary contact for operational requests pertaining to shipment prioritization, shipment status, inventory requests and other operational issue resolution. Supports both the Import/Export Team and the Warehousing & Distribution Team in their daily activities.

  • Regulatory Compliance and Additional Duties
    The Logistics Analyst performs additional duties as assigned and is responsible for adhering to all relevant procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), company policies, and regulatory requirements, including those set forth by OSHA, DEA, FDA, EMEA, and PADEP.

  • Carrier and Customer Relations
    Direct engagement with carriers and customers is essential for resolving transportation issues. Supports all serialization related activities to both inbound and outbound product flow.

  • TGT Net Sales for US Sandoz Market

  • W&D Budget Adherence

  • Customer OTIF (On-Time and In Full)

  • Number of customer complaints

  • Customer representative scorecard ratings

  • No major observations in audits

Preferred Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems (preferably SAP), DSCSA compliance, and trade regulations.

  • Quality mindset including general understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA, US Customs, DEA, DOT, IATA, OSHA, etc.).

Travel Requirements:Up to 5%

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $88,800 -$165,000 USD/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/26 through 12/31/26, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

On September 30, 2021, Sandoz entered into a 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement. Certain positions will have responsibilities to support the execution and adherence to CIA obligations, CIA-related deliverables, and any relevant audit, monitoring or Independent Review Organization (IRO) remediation.
