The Opportunity: We are looking for a Credit Admin Specialist to join our team in Florida. This role performs support functions within the credit department, assist the Credit Analysts and perform special projects as assigned.



What You'll Do:



  • Perform pre-underwriting due diligence on incoming loan requests including but not limited to consumer credit bureaus, flood certifications, OFAC, UCC Search, Corporate Search, EDR, Property Assessor, etc.
  • Review documents received into electronic credit files for completeness and proper labeling.
  • Scan financial records to Fiserv and update date in the credit monitoring system.
  • Bid and order appraisals and environmental reports.
  • Maintain and update the WIP report.
  • Take minutes at DLC and ELC loan meetings.
  • Prepare agenda and loan packages for DLC and ELC loan meetings.
  • Send notification to Board members for DLC meetings, arrange teleconferences, DirectorPoint, etc.
  • Compile data for preparation of loan reports for Board reports.
  • Perform research requests for Business Bankers (level 1 requests only).
  • Perform financial statement spreads.
  • Assist with annual review process under guidance of Credit Department Manager.
  • Complete required compliance training and testing.


What You'll Need:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; college course work in Business Administration or Finance preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial data, such as tax returns, financial statements and loan terminology.
  • Ability to learn and adhere to credit union policies, procedures and Federal and State banking regulations, including compliance with Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering (BSA/AML) program.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to initiate and embrace change.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and ability to work in a team environment.
